FASTA University will organize a new open day for all those interested in Medicine and Dentistry careers. On Wednesday, June 12, at 5 p.m., the Medicine Expo will be held, while the Dentistry Expo will be held on Thursday, June 13, also at 5 p.m.. Both will take place at the SAM headquarters (Avellaneda 3341).
At the Expo, those interested will be able to participate in an informative talk about both careers with authorities, professors and graduates of the same. In addition, you will be able to know all the details of the entry course, the study plan and the necessary information about the degree and the university.
To get to know all the facilities up close, attendees will take 360° tours of the University where they will learn about all the equipment and specialized spaces with the latest technology, such as the Medical Simulation Center and the University Dental Center.
Medicine Expo: activities
-Auscultating a patient: you will learn to listen to the sounds produced by a lung and heart.
-All about CPR: you will learn how to perform CPR with your hands, the techniques and the steps to follow.
-360° Tour: you will discover all the facilities that the Faculty of Medical Sciences has.
-I know the beginning of life. Everything you want to know and didn’t ask.
-We tell you about our first practice experience in the community.
Dentistry Expo: activities
-Learn dental anatomy; from the laboratory to 3D applications and virtual reality: you will be able to interact with the material from our Anatomical Preparations Laboratory and the 3D dental anatomy software.
-Dental Simulation Workshop: activities will be carried out in the Dental Simulation Center.
-Workshop in Dental Prevention Techniques: different methods will be practiced to take care of oral health and they will learn about our prevention programs that our students carry out in the community.
-University Dental Center: the operation of the place where students usually carry out patient care practices will be known.

Registration is now open for Dentistry and Medicine at UFASTA
FASTA University reports the opening of admission to Dentistry and Medicine careers for the 2025 cycle under in-person modality. Both careers have a mandatory entry course that will be taught starting in August 2024.
The opening of the FASTA University Dentistry Program was held in mid-2018, becoming a milestone for both the University and the city, since it is a unique offer in Mar del Plata and the region. Last year the first 10 dentists trained in the city were received. The degree has a theoretical-practical course with patient care for 5 years.
The activities take place in the San Alberto Magno building of the FASTA University, whose facilities have the latest technology equipment that allows the optimal development of the professional: the University Dental Center and the Dental Simulation Room are examples of this.
On the other hand, the Medicine program has more than 300 graduated doctors to date. The University spaces are in turn equipped with the latest technology, such as microscope and simulator rooms, the doctor’s office and laboratories. It should be noted that all the facilities can be toured virtually through the “360º Tour”, an option to explore the real view of each area in 3D.
