The Juan XXIII Foundation has inaugurated SumaMente, its new Center for psychological and social well-being in which it aims to offer comprehensive care through services aimed at improving both the psychological health and the social aspects of all people, especially those at risk or situation of psychosocial vulnerability.

According to the organization, it is a pioneering resource in unifying therapeutic and social services in a single center. This opening can improve the lives of up to 600 more people per year, thus exceeding 2,200 beneficiaries.

SumaMente was born with the aim of addressing psychosocial problems in a comprehensive way, because “protecting psychosocial health is essential to have a stronger, healthier, fairer, more inclusive society.”

The Psychological and Social Wellbeing Center aims to offer comprehensive care through transversal services to all people, especially at risk or in a situation of psychosocial vulnerability, working on social, family, work and leisure areas. SumaMente covers all ages, although it places special focus on young people, and covers everything from prevention, early detection and evaluation, to their care and readaptation, contributing to the improvement of their autonomy, personal development, well-being and quality of life. life.

Thus, within it, different therapeutic and social services are offered that are based on a comprehensive vision of the person. This vision allows us to work in a transversal and interdisciplinary way not only with it, but also with the environment that surrounds it, using innovative methodologies and cutting-edge techniques.
