It is expected that the medical school, for which an agreement has already been signed with the Herminio Arrieta Technical School in Libertador, will begin teaching classes at said establishment. In this sense, the official maintained that “a future improvement plan was presented for the readjustment of the spaces at the Oscar Orias Hospital. Because once the construction, transfer and commissioning of the new hospital is completed, the refunctionalization of the old hospital will begin so that it can be the definitive headquarters of the race,” he indicated.
The secretary reiterated that, for the teaching of the medical degree in Jujuy, the University of Tucumán designated a headquarters through the UNJu in the city of Libertador Gral. San Martin until the teaching staff is in a position to assume leadership.
Finally, he mentioned that the medical career will have previous courses and an entrance exam until the final quota of applicants is defined. “The Government of the province assumed, before CONEAU, the responsibility of financing the necessary resources, infrastructure and teaching staff involved in the race until the Nation project is approved. We are working and it is the wish of the Governor that by mid-2025 the race will be enabled for its dictation.”
