The independent music festival Hurra, which last year ‘canonized’ David Bowie, in this edition has paid tribute to the Italian diva who died in 2021 with a pilgrimage procession in which some of her most emblematic songs have been heard such as ‘There is than coming to the south’ or ‘In love everything is beginning’.

Glitter and sequins

There has been no shortage of glitter or Carrá imitators, with her unmistakable blonde hair and sequined outfit; nor the raccoon costumes, in reference to the video clip of her song that is currently very current in Spain due to the dilemma of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez.

After some first prayers at an altar dedicated to the multifaceted actress, singer, dancer and television presenter next to one of the festival stages, a pilgrimage procession took place inside the Ifeza fairgrounds in Zamora where they gathered a thousand people.

The procession was led by two impersonators of priests and an altar boy, who distributed holy water and sang chants dedicated to Raffaella María Roberta Pelloni, her given name.

The organizer of the festival, Andrés Cid, explained to EFE that the festival is dedicated each year to a representative musician, and the one chosen this year responds to the fact that “the spirit of our party and our pilgrimage is the one that Raffaella has always had in mind.” all his songs” as he has always been a “very fun” person.

Among the Raffaella imitators was Irene Plaza, who before singing “Pedro, Pedro, Pedro” explained that she dressed like this to be “very much in tune with the theme and enjoy” the festival.
