‘The Evil Dead’ It is a true classic of horror cinema. The film directed by Sam Raimi was released in 1981 and starred Bruce Campbell who played the charismatic Ash Williams. Over the years, the license became a franchise and it hasn’t even been a year since a renewed version of it arrived: ‘Evil Dead Rise’. Well, it turns out that there are two new movies on the way.

One of them will be directed by Sebastien Vanicekauthor of ‘Vermin: The Plague’ and the short films ‘Crocs’ and ‘Mayday’ and nothing is known about the plot. The other, about which even less is known because it has just been revealed, will feature Francis Galluppidirector of the acclaimed ‘The Last Stop in Yuma County’ (2023). Now we just have to wait to find out details about both: location in the universe of ‘Infernal Possession’, trailers, cast, release dates…

‘Infernal Possession: The Awakening’, the last film in the saga

Gory and satisfying“, that’s what the review of ‘Infernal Possession: The Awakening’ (‘Evil Dead Rise’) says on MeriStation. Lee Cronin’s film tried to reimagine the saga last year with a firm commitment to gory horror, maintaining a certain degree of fidelity to the franchise but taking the occasional license. You can see it on HBO Max, a platform that in just a few days will become Max altogether. (here you have all the plans and prices).
