A little less than a year ago the case of Zach and Cori Salazar, a couple from California, USAwho were each surprised with cancer diagnoses.
While Zak was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (a type of rapidly growing tumor that affects the brain), Cori was found thyroid cancer.

They are both parents of three little girls; Juniper4 years old; Delaney, of 3; and Moon, 2 years. On this occasion, it was Cori who spoke through her social networks about the present and future of her family.

Both Cori and Zak are regulars on social media. Zak, who is a park ranger, He even has a YouTube channel where he created educational content for children about flora and fauna, but now he remains calm while he overcomes his brain cancer.
The couple attended the television program in November 2023. Jennifer Hudson, who gave the whole family $10,000 and a trip to Hawaii. Both thanked the gesture through their Instagram accounts, and showed what was part of the experience.
After that, in February of this year, Cori published some photos of her familyincluding her daughters and Zak.
In the caption, the woman wrote: “It’s easy to let my mind wander into the future. What’s going to happen? Will they find a cure for her cancer?” How am I going to protect my daughters? “I could go on and on.”
“I choose to stay here now. There are so many good things. I choose to focus on the good. God, you are good. Thank you for these sweet memories. Thank you for taking us through this journey. Thank you for our family and friends. Please keep bringing me closer to you,” she added.
Then, on March 1, Cori showed some letters written by Zak, where you can see how he declares his love for her. “Going through the memory chest now is different. I want my daughters to know everything about him. This box doesn’t even scratch the surface of how amazing Zak is. Tears of joy and sadness tonight“he wrote next to the reel.
The woman also added the hashtags cancer, grief, grief diary and marriage.
