One of the guests to the next episode of “We Can Talk” is Juan Andrés Salfate. The film critic and television personality will be part of the Chilevision which premieres on Sunday, where he will tell several anecdotes from his years in the media.
According to the writer, several years ago he was greatly embarrassed when he had to interview the director of “Fight Club”, “Seven Deadly Sins” and “The Social Network”. David Fincherwho got upset with Salfate for his questions.
The conspiracy theorist pointed out that when the movie “Panic Room” was released, he was able to attend a press conference that did not end in the best way.
“I ask the first question to a group of five people and I tell him: ‘Mr. Fincher, you have a vocation for black and white cinema…’ and he sort of gets confused and says to me like this: ‘No, in reality life is full of colors, look at your shirt, look at everything, I record like this, because maybe there is less lightbut the colors are present in my film,’” he began by saying.

At that moment, Salfate insisted on his point, which the director did not like, who ended up very upset.

Finally he asked Fincher what it meant to him to direct two important actors like Whitaker and Foster, who had also dabbled in directing, but it was the question that ended up bothering the filmmaker.
“When I am a director, I am the only one who directs the film, the others are actors.” Salfate added that the director “I don’t answer anymore and he stops and leaves.
