This Saturday at Mirtha’s night, María Fernanda Callejón spoke about her love present after her controversial separation with Ricardo Diotto. Currently, the actress is in a relationship with former soccer player Fernando “el Negro” Gamboa and she assured that, although they are not officially dating, she is happy and much calmer with him by her side.
María Fernanda once again bet on love with the former Córdoban footballer after her media and controversial separation with Ricky Diotto in 2022, father of her 8-year-old daughter Giovanna. “I am very calm, healing, but happy, accompanied. You saw that time accommodates everything,” she commented very happily.
Late in the evening, Mirtha Legrand asked María Fernanda Callejón how her romance with Gamboa began. “We were dating in the 90s. For those who don’t know him, Fernando Gamboa was born in Marcos Juárez, Córdoba, and until he was 11 years old he lived in Inriville. Then, he moved to Santa Fe and began his career as a soccer player at the Newell’s Old Boys Club in Rosario.
From there, he went through River Plate and Boca Juniors (where he shared a team with Diego Armando Maradona) and in 1996 he went to play for Real Oviedo in Spain, after having been part of the Argentine National Team team that won the 1991 Copa América in Chili. Years later, Fernando returned to Argentina, signed with some other clubs, worked in Chile and finally retired in 2004. Currently, he is a soccer coach.
