Last Wednesday was supposed to be the deadline to pay the property tax in Ibagué with the 15% discount. However, due to the large number of taxpayers who went to the payment points that day and those who were not able to do so, the banks in the shopping centers decided to open this Saturday, March 30.
The financial entities of the La Estación, Aqua and Multicentro shopping centers will be open from 9:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon.
“We want to inform taxpayers who were unable to make the payment, that On Saturday they will be serving continuously in the shopping centers, the AV Villas bank, Davivienda and Oeste”, reported Ángel María Gómez, Secretary of the Treasury of Ibagué.
Continuously, taxpayers will be able to go to the banks: Davivienda de La Estación and Multicentro; AV Villas de Multicentro and Acqua, and Banco de Occidente, located in the La Estación shopping center.
“The balance is extremely positive. We gave timely attention to taxpayers who visited the shopping centers on Tuesday and Wednesday.. The banks were bursting at the seams from 9:00 in the morning,” the official added.
However, until Sunday, March 31, you can still take advantage of the property tax with a 15% discount, but only through the Mayor’s website www.alcaldiadeibague.gov.co.
