Art took Huila and

For two days, Huila e, the Business Center of the Huila Chamber of Commerce, was the epicenter of a wonderful cultural meeting that hosted a significant number of artists, including painters, musicians, pastry chefs, graffiti artists, artisans and others, which was attended by of more than 1,300 visitors, with the second version of El Arte Se Toma Huila e.

This event was held as a contribution from the chamber entity to the art and culture of the department and the strengthening of artists who are present in the region.

The extensive program was aimed at all audiences, which is how activities were carried out such as art with resin on mirrors, blind tasting master class “discovering wine through the senses”, urban expressions “graffiti, murals and mental health”, stone painting workshop, candle workshop, jewelry workshop, craft workshop, presentation of folk groups and musical bands, among others.

Likewise, 39 painting, jewelry and crafts entrepreneurs, who were supported and trained by the Huila Chamber of Commerce, exhibited the best of their creations during the 2 days of the event, achieving sales of more than 12 million pesos and business expectations for close to 20 million pesos.

Martín Ibatá, director of competitiveness of the Huila Chamber of Commerce, stated that the results of the event were very positive, “more than 1,300 participants in the different free workshops that we held within the framework of the event, plans for the whole family where we involved art, commerce, entrepreneurship and all our stakeholders who accompanied us.”

Huila e, Business Center is the place to enhance the popular economy, through spaces for the strengthening of artists and creative industries.
