These are the Gender and Youth commissions in the Norte Grande Parliament. La Rioja holds the presidency in two of the total 13 commissions. This Friday will be the Plenary Session.



Within the framework of the 50th Plenary Session of the Parliament of the Great North of Argentina, deputies from the provinces of NOA and NEA worked under the slogan “Federalism in Action for a United Argentina.” For this purpose, the thirteen work commissions met at the Castro Barros Cultural Walk, presenting a total of 115 projects.

The Rioja legislators, together with their peers from the 10 provinces that make up the regional organization, analyzed and debated integration, growth and development policies, prioritizing dialogue to move towards the eradication of asymmetries in the country due to the social situation, economic and political that Argentina faces.

On this occasion, La Rioja was chosen to preside over two of the 13 Parliament commissions. The Gender, Diversity and Childhood Commission will be chaired by Congresswoman Gabriela Amoroso and the Youth Commission, headed by Carla Aliendro.

It should be noted that the legislators designated to represent the province are the deputies Lourdes Ortiz, Carla Aliendro, Teresita Luna, Gabriela Amoroso, Noelia Oros, Maricel Muñoz, Juan Carlos Santander, Claudio Ruiz, Gustavo Galván, Cristian Pérez, Oscar Chamía and Fabián Gauna.

During the afternoon the more than 120 legislators worked in the Health, Prevention and Inclusion commissions; Natural Resources, Mining and Environment; Tourism, Sports and Culture; Security, Justice and Human Rights; Works, Infrastructure and Transportation; Education, Modernization, Science and Technology; Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Livestock; Consumer Rights, Users and Public Services; Gender, Women, Diversity and Equality; Economy, Planning and Investment; Constitutional Affairs and General Legislation; Work, Social Security and Taxes; and Youth, and defined the topics that will be included in the List of Issues that will be discussed later in the Plenary Session.
