Police appeal for witnesses after young girl is sexually assaulted in Marlow

Thames Valley Police have asked for help to find a man accused of sexually assaulting a young girl in Marlow.

The girl, of primary school age, was walking in Westhorpe Road when a man approached and touched her over her clothing at around 5.50pm on Thursday (April 18).

She was not injured and ran away.

Police have described the man as white with very tanned skin, between 40 to 50 years old and about five feet ten inches tall.

He was wearing a dark green jacket with black arms and collar, skinny jeans and black trainers.

In addition, he had brown/ginger hair with gray streaks which fell to the left-hand side, and stubble of the same color.

PC Claire Pearce, investigating officer, said: “This was a concerning incident and we are carrying out an investigation in order to locate the offender.

“If anyone has seen this incident or recognizes the man from the description then please do get in touch with.
