The blue dollar rose five pesos this Wednesday compared to this Tuesday’s close and was quoted at $1,005 for purchase and $1,035 for sale.
With this rise, the marginal currency once again reached the maximum value of the last 50 days, although far from returning to the historical high levels it reached at the end of January when it reached $1,250.
With the daily adjustment of the wholesale dollar that advanced fifty cents to $873, the exchange gap stands at 18.56%.
Meanwhile, financial dollars had a stable day. After the correction that the market made this Tuesday after the rise on Monday prior to Javier Milei’s speech, this Wednesday the MEP dollar rose to $6.5 and stood at $1,013.27.
While cash with settlement rose $1.62 and closed the day at $1,053.57. The gap between the CCL and the wholesaler remained at 20.68%.
The value of the bill in Banco Nación is $892.50 and in the average of the banks it is $915.34. In this way, the value of the card dollar is $1,428.
The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (BCRA) acquired 109 million dollars this Wednesday and managed to exceed 30,000 million dollars in gross reserves.
Since December 13, the Central has totaled acquisitions for US$ 14,505 million. In this way, it continues to rebuild the level of reserves, one of the key objectives set by the IMF as a goal and necessary to be able to get out of the trap.
