In an operation against the irregular transportation of food, the Group of Carabineros and Environmental Protection seizes more than 90 million, in the municipality of Tadó, Chocó.

Place where a truck-type vehicle was detected that did not meet the necessary requirements to guarantee public food safety.

During an inspection carried out in the popular neighborhood of Tadó, the uniformed officers discovered that the vehicle in question did not comply with the cold chain, sanitation and sanitation required for the transportation of food.

This situation, if it had not been intervened, could have seriously affected the public health of the inhabitants of Tadó.

As a result of this operation, a large amount of food products were seized:

Among them, 9,142 kilos of chicken, 525 kilos of beef and 419 kilos of cheese.

These foods were confiscated due to lack of compliance with health and transportation regulations.

The vehicle in question lacked the health inspection certificate issued by the local health authorities.

An essential requirement for the safe transportation of food.

Consequently, a summons order was made in accordance with the provisions of Law 1801 of 2016, article 110.

The seized items were handed over to the Tadó police inspection.

While the total value of the seized products amounts to a considerable sum of 90,000,000 million pesos.
