more than 80 students committed to prevention – Ministry of Education

With the enthusiastic participation of students from the 7th grade A and B of School No. 436 “Diputada María Pilar Bermudez” and the “Martín Pescador” School, the Conectar Lab Educational Innovation Center held an exciting day of the “Guardians against the Dengue: Protecting Our Community.” This initiative is part of the prevention policies promoted by the provincial government and the Ministry of Education.

During the activity, more than 80 students were immersed in an innovative learning environment, taking advantage of the technological tools and workshops available at the Center. From creating multimedia content to manufacturing teaching materials, students explored new ways to address the problem of dengue and spread preventive measures in their communities.

In this regard, the coordinator of Educational Innovation Centers, Javier Paniagua, highlighted the importance of this type of initiatives to address the problem. Likewise, he highlighted the teaching commitment to promoting educational experiences outside the classroom, thus enriching the teaching-learning process of students.

In addition, he highlighted the crucial role of the “School Space” as an accessible resource for educational institutions and the community in general. He invited teachers and institutions from across the province to join the activities of the “Visit School” line of action, where they will be able to explore the Center’s laboratories and workshops, and access advice from experts in various areas (sound, multimedia, science and manufacturing) to enhance and support planned knowledge in the classroom.
