On April 24 of this year, at the facilities of Club Colombia, from the Self-Assessment, Accreditation and Certification Division -DAAC, the Management Review meeting for the 2023 period was held, with the presence of the Board of Directors, at the head. of the rector Martha Sofía Gonzáles Insuasti, and the participation of the Directors of the academic-administrative units of the University of Nariño.
The Management Review strengthens the Quality Management System with the purpose of moving towards the continuous improvement of the Institution. At this meeting, the DAAC announced the synthesis of the results of the Internal Audit of the Strategic, Mission, Support, Control and Evaluation processes, as well as the degree of compliance with the University’s quality objectives; For their part, the academic-administrative units presented a report regarding their management corresponding to the year 2023, with satisfactory results. “We recognize the commitment of the Directors and work team of the agencies in presenting these results that demonstrate, once again, that at the University of Nariño we are doing things with quality,” said Dr. Francisco Torres Martínez, director of the University of Nariño. After the Management Review process, in the last week of May the University of Nariño will receive the second year follow-up External Audit by ICONTEC.
