In Quibdó, the local Police station arrested a minor for illegal possession of firearms, framed in the development of the “New Police Service Model, oriented towards people and territories.”
The incident took place during patrol, registration, control and identification of people in the Niño Jesús neighborhood, Los Puentes sector.
The uniformed officers observed a suspicious attitude on the part of the teenager, who upon realizing the police presence tried to flee.
After approaching him, a search was carried out on the person, finding a 38 caliber Indumil brand revolver in the waistband of his pants, accompanied by 04 cartridges.
Given the evidence, the minor was arrested and taken into police custody.

Being subsequently handed over to the Criminal Responsibility Unit for Adolescents.
