Premiere in La Araucanía! “Microterrícolas” arrives at the Municipal Theater of Temuco with a projection on a giant screen – Temuco Television

The regional premiere of “Microterrícolas” in La Araucanía is scheduled for Tuesday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Municipal Theater of Temuco.

With a national debut in the Junior Room of Cinépolis La Reina in Santiago, coinciding with its premiere on the screens of NTV, TVN’s family cultural channel, the series “Microterrícolas” premiered nationally. After two years of production, it became the first Chilean fiction series to feature real insects as protagonists. The 14 exciting episodes of the inaugural season were directed by Felipe Atenas and filmed during a demanding three-month process in the Valdivian Jungle, using five contemporary production units to bring Eli’s neighborhood and his friends to life. To capture the beauty of stunning landscapes and little-known insect species, more than 130 visual effects were used per episode over the next 18 months.

This collaboration between the national companies Escarabajo, Atómica and 17Films, in co-production with TVN and financed by the CNTV 2021 Fund of the National Television Council, represents a significant achievement in the Chilean audiovisual panorama. Mauricio Muñoz, President of the National Television Council, highlighted the importance of supporting innovative projects such as “Microterrícolas”, which raise the standard of national production.

Mariana Hidalgo, Programming Director of NTV, shared her enthusiasm: “It is a pleasure to premiere a Chilean series that combines very attractive stories with real characters of our nature. Everything is ready for children to discover the world around us in a playful and entertaining way.”

“Microterrícolas” arrives in La Araucanía for its regional premiere this Tuesday, April 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the Municipal Theater of Temuco in a family event on a giant screen with free admission, prior registration to the email Teatromunicipalemuco.cl, captivating the public in a production where the bugs take the floor to show us the daily life of a neighborhood of insects that live in the Valdivian Jungle, in southern Chile.
