The proletarian day in the town of San Luis was presided over by the motto “For Cuba: Together We Create,” and the members of the various unions in the town, organized and combative, gave another show of support for the Revolution, in a complex economic scenario.

The voices of the Dos Caminos workers were raised to condemn the cruel policy of the North American economic, commercial and financial blockade, reaffirm their support for the Socialist Revolution, ratify the productive, social and economic commitments and in favor of international solidarity with the workers of the world that demand a more just and rational economic order.

The Central Workers of Cuba recognized the most prominent unions in the parade for their initiatives, color, slogans and allegorical banners to date. Among those stimulated were Education, Science and Sports; Commerce, Gastronomy and Services; Public Health, Culture, Sugar, Defense Civilians, Agriculture and Public Administration.

At the event, several workers from the town received the card that accredits them as Party members.

Yusnelis La O Rodríguez, Secretary of the Municipal Public Health Union, highlighted in the central words of the event that the parade of the workers of the municipality and Dos Caminos, summarizes the determination of the San Luis workers to continue playing the leading role in the perfection of socialism. based on the strategy outlined by the Eighth Congress of the PCC.

Present at the event were Milagros Gómez Jaime, Member of the Municipal Bureau of the Party that serves the Political – Ideological Sphere, Yasmin Tortosa Sánchez, President of the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power, Alison Noval Arañó, General Secretary of the Cuban Workers’ Union, Eradia Alba Villalón, President of the Popular Council, Felipe Sabarit Caballero, Hero of Labor of the Republic of Cuba, as well as representatives of political and mass organizations, unions, constituency delegates and the people, in general.

The working class of Dos Caminos took part in a colorful parade and commemorative event for May Day, marked by enthusiasm and productive effort. Dressed in the colors of the national flag, men and women from the Land of the Maceo paraded to celebrate their day, as the most worthy expression of unconditional support for the Revolution and Socialism.
