Once again the mayor of Santa Marta, Carlos Pinedo Cuello, met with representatives of the Tras la Perla Foundation of the Samarian artist Carlos Vives with whom he continues to strengthen the ties of brotherhood with a view to the celebration of the 500 years of the founding of Santa Martha.

Likewise, representatives of the private sector of Santa Marta and Magdalena also took part in the meeting, who are interested in contributing their initiatives so that this anniversary is in line with the expectations of the citizens and Colombia, taking into account that it is the first city ​​founded on dry land on July 29, 1525 by Rodrigo de Bastidas.

In this way, Mayor Pinedo Cuello continues to ‘knock on doors’ in search of support from all sectors, so that they can join in this great crusade for the city such as its 500 years, which demands the full attention of his children, for the compliance with the programs in the pipeline, especially that of drinking water.

Sectors such as tourism, hotels, bananas and production, in separate meetings with the official, have given him support, but there are some missing who, although they are willing to collaborate, require the official’s lobby, to ensure that participation in the great programming to be developed.

At the meeting held today, the official felt pleased with its achievement, for which he captured it on his social networks, especially on his X account, where he also posted a photo with all the participants in the meeting in his office at the District Mayor’s Office.
