The case became known on Thursday night, when one of the little girls entered the hospital with a break and bruises on her face, so she is in serious condition.
Faced with this situation, police officers rescued their twin and another three-year-old brother in the couple’s home who is now accused of child abuse. Once at the scene, they noticed that the other baby also had injuries similar to those of her sister, so she was hospitalized.
For his part, the child is in good condition and was kept in the custody of the Secretary of Children, Adolescents and Family of Cordova (SENAF).
Regarding the parents of the little ones, a 32-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, originally from Río Cuarto, were detained and housed in the Alcaidía of the San Justo neighborhood, accused of “serious injuries” and “minor injuries”, classified by the link.
In principle, the little ones would be left in the care of one of their grandmothers, although other relatives are also being contacted. The case was left in the hands of prosecutor Juliana Companys.
