The event took place on 34th Street and 10th Street, where Three armed individuals broke into a marketing company demanding money and shooting indiscriminately. In the midst of the chaos, a man and a woman, identified as Carlos Gómez and Teresa Torres, respectively, were injured by bullets. However, the police presence triggered an armed confrontation and a subsequent chase.

According to the Bucaramanga Metropolitan Police, the criminals entered the establishment and began to attack those present. “By not complying with their demands, they hit a man in the head with the butt of the gun and later noticed the presence of more people on the second floor, whom they forced to descend, shooting another man,” the authorities explained.

Despite the quick police reaction, The criminals managed to escape on motorcycles, dropping a firearm as they fled. “In the vicinity of the place there was a second lieutenant, a surveillance leader, who heard the detonation and began the search, where he noticed the departure of three subjects from the establishment with firearms in their hands,” the authorities added.

The chase spread through several neighborhoods of the city, including Girardot, Santander and the soccer stadium. Although the agents managed to repel the attack of the criminals, they managed to escape.

The incident has generated concern in the community and has highlighted the need to strengthen security in the area to prevent future criminal acts.
