27 new primary school teachers join 20 Official Educational Institutions of Cali

• The hearing of the Public Offer of Career Jobs #182685 was held at the District Education Secretariat.
  
• During the public hearing, 27 teachers selected the Official Educational Institutions (IEO) where they will work at the primary school level.

Giving continuity to Selection Process 2185 of 2021which provides the definitive vacancies of the special teaching career system in Official Educational Institutions (IEO) of Cali that serve the majority population, on Monday (04/29/2024) the hearing of the Public Offer of Career Jobs (opec) #182685 for primary school teachers.

“We have just successfully completed the hearing of 27 definitive vacancies in the primary area, which will reach 20 IEOs in our District. “This hearing was carried out in compliance with the principles of meritocracy and transparency, as guided by the National Commission of the Civil Service and the Public Service.”said Diana Patricia Montes, a specialized professional assigned to the Administrative and Financial Undersecretariat.

Some representatives of union organizations were present during the participation space. In strict descending order of score, each eligible professional selected the IEO to which he should be assigned. The above in compliance with the Resolution 207 of February 23, 2010regulations that regulate public hearings for selection of places in Official Educational Institutions, in accordance with the lists of those eligible to provide jobs that are governed by the special teaching career system.

“We are accompanying this process that is very important to us, in this fair fight of colleagues who enter public education”said Dazuly Triviño, general secretary of the Humanist Education Workers Union of Valle del Cauca (Sintraheva).

Jorge Enrique Sierra Sierra participated in the non-rural area teaching contest and during the hearing he chose to work at the IEO Normal Superior Santiago de Cali (Commune 10). “I feel very happy, very grateful to God and my family for supporting me. My challenges are to share all the experience I have, the result of my work both in the private and public sectors in another Certified Territorial Entity to which I was linked. “I am happy, I will not change myself for anyone and I am very happy to belong to this new family.”expressed

Finally, Janeth Polanco Sarmiento, vice president of the Single Union of Education Workers in the Valley (Sutev), concluded: “Today we accompany as observers of this process, so that all guarantees are provided and the doubts of our colleagues are resolved”.
