This Wednesday, the governor Cornel opened the period of ordinary sessions in the Mendoza Legislature. In this context, legislators and representatives of the different political forces of the province were present at the venue.
In that context, this May 1 marked one year of a tense moment experienced in the Legislature. Alejandro Bermejo suffered a decompensation – which was later revealed to be a stroke – and which caused the legislator’s death almost two weeks later..
Some of his colleagues remembered him on networks and they made publications in tribute to the former mayor of Maip. From his X account, Lucas Ilardo published a long and heartfelt thread in tribute to “Pulga”.
“15 MINUTES AFTER. “The blame for everything is time, which persists in passing,” wrote the great Eduardo Sacheri. Today I did not remember all the governor’s speeches that I was in, nor that it is the first in many “I will not be here for years. Today I remembered you!” Ilardo wrote on his networks.
“That was the last time I chatted with you. The last time we bitched each other. let us laugh. I remember that you didn’t want to go out to the door as the protocol indicated for the authorities!! Ha How we laugh with him @AdolBermejo that little while!” he recalled.
Then, Ilardo explained that “we enjoyed it as if we knew that perhaps it was that, the talk that would serve as a farewell. Pure laughter, pure future, pure plan. 15 MINUTES later, the ordeal began. I would smoke again if only for a “I have more to say to you, dear friend. One more laugh.”

The one who also remembered Bermejo was the most recent Peronist candidate for governor, Omar Parisi. From his networks, the former Lujanino mayor immortalized that moment with a photo and said: “Today, a year ago, we laughed as always when we were together! You are missed as a friend, partner and brother! An infinite hug wherever you are!” .
