During these last weeks, the Sports Directorate team visited different spaces in the city where they were able to present about the municipal sports schools program, the sports activities that will be developed in the programmatic area and the physical place where they will take place. In turn, and in a coordinated effort with the Departmental Directorate of Schools, municipal personnel visited more than 20 educational establishments to disseminate the program and deliver registration to students.
At the same time, the management made progress in the formation of work teams composed of teachers, instructors and coaches of each of the disciplines, who received work guidelines according to the objectives set for this year in the municipal sports schools. . On this occasion, emphasis was placed on the main objective of supporting children through sports and bringing new sports proposals to different sectors of Gualeguaychú.
It should be noted that for the development of each of the municipal schools, materials were acquired such as chess games, basketball balls, soccer, futsal, volleyball, hockey, bocce ball, boxing gloves, cycling helmets, hockey sticks, and taekwondo elements. , among other sports materials necessary for the development of each discipline.
To finalize details, next Thursday the last meeting will be held with all the teachers in the Casa Rosada room where sports equipment, attendance sheets for each class, and a first aid kit for each teacher will be delivered.
Registrations
The Sports Directorate is carrying out registrations for the different sports schools that will begin next Monday, May 6. It is worth mentioning that to this day registration forms continue to be received and the objective is to continue registrations even with the start of the activity.
In this context, it is important to mention that the registration forms must be accompanied by a medical certificate and can be picked up at the Sports Directorate office, located at Urquiza 1066, upper floor, from Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. In turn, the teachers of each discipline will have registration forms at the place where the activity takes place to formalize the children’s entry into the sports school.
