In his speech, the Cuban president recognized the work of solidarity activists, trade unionists, and representatives of left-wing organizations, in defense of the island’s right to self-determination, sovereignty and independence.
He especially appreciated the support in the face of the intensification of the United States blockade in the effort to subvert the revolutionary process, and reaffirmed his country’s support for just causes in the world.
