Colombia is one of the most important tourist destinations in Latin America, which is why thousands of travelers visit its landscapes every year with the aim of discovering magical places and friendly climates.
The geography of the coffee country, which stands out for its mountains and the charm of its two oceans, offers multiple activities for tourists.
Beyond its well-known beaches and mountain landscapes, Colombia is also home to one of the most beautiful streets in the world, according to a magazine specialized in tourism.
Is about Condé Nast Travelera magazine specialized in luxury travel and lifestyle, which released the list of the most beautiful streets in the world and which no traveler can miss.
Precisely, in this list there is a Colombian street, which stands out as one of the four in Latin America.
The edition of the specialized magazine chose one of the streets of Cartagena, in the north of Colombia, as one of the must-see streets for tourists. This is the busy Carrera 4 street, in the historic center of the walled city.
There is the well-known Pedro Claver church and it also leads to the entrance to a large part of the walls that are a tourist attraction in Cartagena, which is why the specialized magazine recommends it as an unforgettable walk in the Colombian coastal city.
“Entering the Old Town of this walled city is quite a trip on a Delorean, to a brilliant colonial era in which all the essence still remains in a street like Carrera 4, through which little by little the church of San Pedro Claver can be seen.”, explains the media.
In addition to Cartagena, three other streets in the region were also chosen in the enviable list.
One of them is found in Havana Cuba and the other two in Brazil. In the Caribbean country, Brasil Street stands out, which also recalls colonial architecture, while in Brazil the renowned Selarón Staircase, in Rio de Janeiro, and Rua Gonçalo de Carvalho in Porto Alegre were chosen.
