The residents of the 6 de Agosto neighborhood, in the La Cuchilla area, were Shocked to find lifeless baby abandoned inside a black bag, outside a church, this Saturday morning.
“It is the first time that this has happened in the neighborhood and it is very sad that they take the life of a newborn in this way, because “Not even an animal should be thrown in a bag.”a resident of the area told the media.
What are the Police investigating?
The woman who found the baby on the sidewalk of the church, located on Corpus Christi Street, believed that there was garbage in the black bag, but when she approached noticed the lifeless body. For this reason, the Police were called to remove the body.
The Special Force to Fight Crime (Felcc) began the investigation of this incident for infanticide and wait for the autopsy result to know the cause of the infant’s death.
Another neighbor from the 6 de Agosto neighborhood indicated that there are no security cameras in the area and regretted the death of the baby, who was abandoned outside a church.
