The 42nd edition of the International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2024) concludes its work this Sunday in the Jardines del Rey destination, with the successful evaluation by foreign organizers and attendees, PL reports.
Dedicated to America, the Caribbean and Russia, and with a strong emphasis on nautical activities, this meeting contributed its additional contribution to the efforts of the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) to promote the travel industry on the island.
Such a recreational exchange (May 1 to 5 in Jardines del Rey) had an impact on tour operators and travel agents from all over the Caribbean, and the world, hoteliers, airline managers and other professionals in the sector interested in Cuba.
One of its successes was precisely in the negotiations for the immediate future, and the contracting of tourist packages from the agents who took part in the meeting.
Authorities from the Ministry of Tourism (Mintur) confirmed the presence of more than 500 foreigners and 80 journalists from all continents and markets interested in updating themselves regarding this sector at the Cuban level (generally this figure increases to a thousand).
This is a professional event that was held at the Gran Marena Cayo Coco Hotel and showcased efforts, businesses and possibilities that professionals in the sector can find here.
Under the promotional campaign named Cuba is Unique, the potential for relaxation was shown above all in Latin America, the Caribbean and Russia, which is why the meeting carefully attended to these regions, without ruling out priority markets such as the European ones.
Representatives of airlines, tour operators, travel agencies, hoteliers, transporters, suppliers and other experts attended, along with a group of journalists specialized in the subject, both national and foreign.
