GREAT RATE! From this Monday the new cost of the public transport service in Corrientes will govern
Starting with the first service this Monday, May 6, the bus ticket in the city of Corrientes will cost $990. In this way, the tariff update approved by the capital’s Deliberative Council weeks ago comes into effect.
The Secretariat of Urban Mobility and Citizen Security of the Municipality informs that this Monday, May 6, the new rate for the urban passenger transport ticket will come into effect throughout the ejido of the city of Corrientes, the value of which will amount to $990.
This measure corresponds to the application of Ordinance No. 7448 sanctioned by the capital’s Deliberative Council on April 18 of this year, which established the update of the cost of the ticket: in this way, the price of the ticket goes from $690 to $990.
Complying with the corresponding treatment, within the scope of the deliberative venue, the update of the public service rate that was requested by the transportation companies that operate in the city was debated. Which included a first reading, a public hearing where users expressed their opinions, analysis in the commissions and finally approval by the councilors.
In addition, municipal legislation contemplates an increase in the cost of the differential service, which goes from the Piragine Niveyro international airport to the Centro and La Rosada neighborhoods; with stops on Avenida Libertad and JR Fernández; as well as on Pellegrini and Santa Fe streets. This specific modification implies the equivalent of six flat rates.
The Municipality reminds that social services are still in force through the SUBE card, and that the free student ticket is maintained and guaranteed, which includes the levels: primary, secondary, tertiary and university.
