School of Government begins training workshops in San José de Los Campanos | THE UNIVERSAL

The School of Government and Leadership of the Mayor’s Office of Cartagena began training workshops with the Community Action Board (JAC) of the San José de Los Campanos neighborhood, Revivir sector.

In this first meeting, community leaders participated in a ‘Life Project’ workshop, in which they developed activities aimed at motivating, planning and carrying out projects. In addition, during seven meetings, the leaders of the sector will be addressing topics of: leadership, participation mechanisms, citizen coexistence and conciliation in equity. The District assures that this space is given in response to the request given by leaders and representatives of social organizations, on March 6, 2024, at the ‘Neighborhood Meeting’ held in the San José de Los Campanos neighborhood.

“The workshops fit like a glove, as a Community Action Board we are forming again to unite and advance the projects we have. Our objective is to train ourselves with the help of the School of Government for the growth of our sector,” said Agripina Perea Valencia, public relations officer of the Community Action Board of San José de Los Campanos, Revivir sector. The School of Government and Leadership, headed by director Robinson Casarrubia Cardona, assures that it will be carrying out this series of training workshops in order to strengthen the social organizations of Cartagena de Indias and with the objective of creating a network of participation with the community organizations and leaders.
