During the night of Saturday there was a frustrated homicide with a firearm at the Alameda bus terminal, in Central Station.

This incident occurred around 9:00 p.m., specifically at the intersection of Libertador Bernardo O’Higgins Avenue with Ruiz Tagle Street.

The investigation of the case

According to the information provided by Radio Bio Bío, the Team Against Organized Crime and Homicide (ECOH) of the Prosecutor’s Office, indicated that the victim is a man of Venezuelan nationality, who was shot twice at point-blank range in the abdomen and one of his legs.

The attackers fled in an unknown direction.. While the victim was transferred to a health facility and is in serious conditionbut not life-threatening.

At the scene of the event, the Homicide Brigade (BH) of the Investigative Police (PDI), who are gathering evidence that allows us to find those responsible for the events.

Due to the dynamics of the events that we have been able to observe in some videos“We understand that there was indeed an intention to kill him,” said the ECOH prosecutor, Felipe Olivari.

“Apparently, He was on foot and is attacked by other subjects, one or morewho were also on foot and they shoot him with firearms”he added.

The BH was in charge of the investigationand so far they have not been able to establishr the identity of those responsible for the attack.
