An unfortunate road accident left one victim missing, when the driver of a car lost control of the vehicle and ended up overturning on national route No. 66.
According to sources consulted by this newspaper, the incident occurred last Saturday around 9 p.m. on a section of national route No. 66, near the Los Alisos river bridge.
It was under these circumstances that a 47-year-old man was traveling aboard a Fiat Uno car when he lost control of the vehicle and ended up overturning.
Immediately the 911 emergency system received an alert about the road accident and a commission of members of the 21st Section went to the scene of the incident, where they confirmed the truth and intervened with Same personnel.
Once there, health professionals tried to revive the driver, the only occupant of the vehicle, but without success.
Subsequently, the body of the fatal victim was transferred to the “Arturo Zabala” hospital in Perico, where it was established that the cause of death was due to a serious cranial brain trauma and was also identified by his relatives.
At the scene of the events, Road Safety personnel worked to reorganize vehicular traffic and members of the Criminalistics Department carried out the required tests to determine the causes of the tragic episode.
Finally, the complementary actions were carried out by the members of Section 21, by order of the zonal prosecutor assistant of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
