The Ministry of Health of Entre Ríos reported that, in the last week, 1,031 new cases of dengue were reported, of which 499 began with symptoms the previous week. This is the sixth consecutive week in which the province has seen a decrease in infections.
The health portfolio indicated that, in the last seven days, The departments that reported the highest number of cases were Paraná (272), Concordia (200), Federación (143), Uruguay (129) and Villaguay (105). Likewise, of the 1,031 cases registered in the data upload system during epidemiological week 18, a total of 499 had symptoms beginning in the last week.

Along these lines, despite the decrease in infections, The General Directorate of Epidemiology recalled the need to sustain preventive actions to eradicate the presence of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito. It was also remembered that common symptoms include: fever, nausea and vomiting, redness and inflammation of the skin, and severe pain in the head, behind the eyes, in the muscles and joints.
On the other hand, the disease can have serious forms and cause death. Therefore, you should go to a health facility immediately if you present any of the warning signs. such as severe and continuous abdominal pain; dizziness or fainting; persistent vomiting; intolerance to liquids and foods; drowsiness; restlessness or irritability and/or bleeding.
