The governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, inaugurated this Monday the school year of the Institute of Public Security (ISEP) at the headquarters of the city of Recreo. A total of 1,383 cadets will begin their police careers at the Recreo and Rosario headquarters.

The Minister of Justice and Security, Pablo Cococcioni, took part in the event; the mayor of Recreo, Omar Colombo; provincial authorities; legislators; councilors; entrants and advanced students of the police career, among others.

When referring to the new entrants, Pullaro assured that “in our government we are going to make a lot of effort so that you have everything you need: excellent training, training according to the current times and the day you go out into the streets to honor the uniform, they will have the equipment they need. That is why we are purchasing patrol cars, motorcycles, weapons and we are going to invest more than 28,000 million pesos in the uniforms of each man and woman of the police in the province of Santa Fe.”

Likewise, the governor stated: “We are going to work to have a modern Police that can provide answers, that incorporates the technology that today allows us to be much more agile, but fundamentally much more efficient in the persecution and investigation of crime. ”.

“We are going to work on the refunctionalization of police stations in large cities to move to a scheme of police stations where there are clearly determined operational functions and investigative functions. And we are going to work very hard so that from now on the police career really is a career in scale where you have to continue training and retraining depending on each of the hierarchies that you are going to hold or each of the years that you spend. this honorable institution,” he added.

For his part, Minister Cococcioni encouraged the entrants, telling them to “know how to take advantage of every minute of this training journey that they have before them to become better officials and really be able to join the ranks of the Santa Fe Police at a time when which society expects a lot from us”.
