On Friday, May 10 and Saturday, May 11, the 2nd will take place. Edition of “Malbec de Selva”, from 8:30 p.m., at the Knowledge Park fairgrounds, in Posadas.

“It is a great achievement to give continuity to events of these characteristics because it demonstrates the commitment that is made to different drivers of the economy. From the provincial government we will always support these types of initiatives that promote tourism, the alliance between the public and private sectors, and the economic movement,” said Vice Governor Lucas Romero Spinelli, during the presentation held this Monday.

For his part, the Minister of Tourism, José María Arrúa, explained that “this is not just a fair. It is a space for meeting, exchange, and training as well. Because more than 60 people graduated from last year’s Sommelier Diploma that was held in the city and it is a way to present these achievements that also add to the tourist agenda of events that we have organized to strengthen ourselves as hosts, but also to always offer something attractive to missionaries and visitors.”

People who want to participate will pay their ticket online (https://ticketmisiones.com/) and will have access to the rooms. You will receive a welcome drink upon entry, with which you can tour the different stands and taste the variety of labels that will be offered.

As for the recipients, it will be open to both amateurs and those who are starting out in the world of wine, as an ideal opportunity to take a tour of the different national productions, in one place.

“Malbec de Selva” is an event classified within gastronomic tourism. With a synergy between the public sector and the private sector, the aim is to spread the food and wine culture, suggesting the pairing of wines with each dish; highlight gastronomy, one of the fundamental pillars of the culture and tourism of Misiones, and become a traditional event on the annual calendar.

In addition, training and professionalization is promoted, taking into account that the Diploma in Sommelier is supported, which will later be taught in Posadas, certified by the National University of Chaco Austral (UNCAUS), with a duration of 7 months.
