The Military Forces reported that, in a joint operation, they captured two alleged members of the Rafael Aguilera front, FARC dissidents in the urban perimeter of the municipality of Guapi, Cauca’s Pacific coast.
These are aliases ‘Mono’ and alias ‘Machete’, who have belonged to this criminal structure for two years and had an arrest warrant for the alleged crimes of aggravated homicide in a homogeneous competition.

Alias ’Mono’ and alias ‘Machete, were surprised during a checkpoint installed in the urban perimeter.
Major Andrés Fernando de Vivero Alviz, second commander of the 42nd Marine Infantry River Battalion, explained that the two captured “would be in charge of collecting extortions from merchants, on whom they imposed the value they had to pay, after inspecting the merchandise they “I arrived in Guapi from Buenaventura – Valle del Cauca and from Tumaco – Nariño.”

The major also reported the capture, in flagrante delicto, of a foreign citizen in the middle of a search procedure in a home in this same town.
The captured woman had communications equipment, a gun, magazines and 30 cartridges in her possession.
The woman is accused of “keeping accounts of the money collected as a result of extortion from merchants in the municipality.”

In Guapi, Cauca, the Military Forces had recently reported the death in combat of two members of the FARC Central General Staff.
