A Jujuy home was raided this Tuesday within the framework of a research that seeks material child abusecause called “ International Operation Allies for Children III“There were also more raids in other provinces and other countries and several detainees.
The operation was led by Judicial Investigation Corps of the Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF) of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), and had the collaboration of the American investigation system Internet Crimes Against Children Child On-line Protection System (ICACCOPS).
The procedures were simultaneous in several Argentine provincesLatin American and European countries during this May 7, within the framework of an investigation carried out between December 5, 2023 and February 14, 2024.

After the procedure, They took CPUs, notebooks, pendrives, external drives and other computer items, which will be analyzed for child abuse material. The objective is to verify the trafficking of child sexual exploitation material on P2P exchange platforms within Argentine territory.
More than 30 raids with 15 detainees
The procedures took place in 12 Argentine provinces and other countries in America and Europe. There were 33 procedures in Buenos Aires, Chubut, Córdoba, Corrientes, Entre Ríos, Formosa, Río Negro, Salta, Santa Fe, Tierra del Fuego and Tucumán, in addition to CABA, and also in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Paraguay, Panama, Puerto Rico , Germany, Costa Rica and Peru.

Until now there is 15 people arrested, 9 of them in Argentina (4 in CABA, 3 in Santa Fe, 1 in the province of Buenos Aires and 1 in Salta), plus four other suspects detained in Ecuador, one in Puerto Rico and the remaining one in Costa Rica. In the records 176 items related to sexual abuse of minors were seized.
Operations against child abuse
Operation “Allies for Children III” is the third international action conceived and coordinated from Argentina, to combat Sexual Exploitation of Boys, Girls and Adolescents. The first had taken place in August 2023, when 46 people were arrested. The other was in December, in which there were 13 detainees and 9 countries participated: Dominican Republic, Brazil, Ecuador, United States, Chile, Paraguay, Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico.
