He explained that the main sources of drug entry into Potosí territory, It is identified by two routes: through Guanajuato or Jalisco, where the presence of organized crime cartels with a national presence is identified.
He said that these movements, together with those carried out by cells of criminal groups, is what generated that within the investment plan for 2024, It is considered to strengthen the network of video surveillance arches, placed on strategic roads and access to cities.
González stated that the growth of the crystal is due to the fact that can be produced relatively easily, in home laboratories, in significant quantities that later enter the retail market.

The head of the SSPC stated that this year, the State Attorney General’s Office has reported that in the first quarter of the year, the number of arrests and links to proceedings of those allegedly responsible for committing that crime increased suddenly.

González stated that there is no indication that the number of 40,000 addicts identified in San Luis Potosí has increased.
The glass market, in one estimate, represents profits of just over 2 million pesos per day for criminal groups.
Each dose of that drug, on the streets of the city, sells for only 20 pesos.
