The general strike scheduled for next Thursday will have a significant impact on public services, including hospitals.
This was confirmed by Sergio Castro, head of the Córdoba Public Employees Union, in dialogue with Chain 3.
“We have determined with each of the hospital delegates that the corresponding guards be implemented to respond to emergencies,” Castro explained.

This measure aims guarantee the minimum necessary care during the strike, especially in cases of emergencies.
The union member acknowledged that this situation will complicate regular operations. In addition, he warned of possible difficulties for medical staff and nurses in reaching their jobs due to the cessation of public transportation.
Likewise, he mentioned other sectors affected by the strike: “The kids can’t go to class because the UEPC stops.” This situation reflects the general difficulties that the community will face during this day.
Sergio Castro concluded by pointing out that these complications are a reflection of what is currently being experienced.
