Independiente Medellín is beating César Vallejo 2-1 for the fourth date of Group A of the Copa Sudamericana. A partial result that leaves the Colombian team in qualifying positions for the Playoffs of the second most important tournament on the continent.
The powerful team would take the lead on the scoreboard 15 minutes into the first half, when Brayan León took advantage of a break and defined in the best way against César Vallejo’s goalkeeper. It is the Colombian striker’s third goal in this edition of the Copa Sudamericana.

Minutes later César Vallejo would find the tie on the scoreboard, after in the 24th minute Jairo Vélez took advantage of a serious error by the Medellín goalkeeper, Eder Chaux, who did not measure the ball well with his hands and ended up giving it to the Peruvian player.
At the end of the first half, Independiente Medellín would return to the lead on the scoreboard, after Brayan León again took advantage of an error by César Vallejo’s defense and finished alone in front of the Peruvian goal, thus scoring his fourth goal in the tournament.
