The teachers who fulfill their duties in the Doctor Manuel Alvar López School (former Provincial ofChimbas), they no longer want to attend school, because they suffer constant attacks (stone throwing), before reaching their destination, which is why the institution’s authorities have requested a greater police presence in the area.
The last attack was suffered by a teacher who was heading to school when he received several stones in his car. Ford Focus when he passed through the interior of the Los Andes neighborhoodlocated in the vicinity of Route 40 and Benavides. Luckily, the teacher did not suffer any injuries, but the stones almost completely destroyed the glass of the left rear door.
Many of the teachers complained and pointed out that the situation is complicated and dangerous, since they suffer attacks almost daily. But the situation does not end there, but even though they have a place to park inside the school, the gate is always open and without any type of security and sometimes even the wheels suffer theft.
At the moment, they demand police presence, since they fear that these stones could seriously harm a person, or a teacher or a student.
