The presentation of the book took place in an emotional event “Old Tafí without time”work of the renowned local author Carlos “Titi” Enrico. The launch, organized by Ediciones Tafí Viejo, the city’s municipal publishing house, featured the special participation of the vocal group Tafí and the ballet Embrujo de Mi Tierra, in an evening where culture and history were intertwined in a unique way.
The publication of this book represents a significant milestone for the community of Tafí Viejo, not only for its cultural and historical value, but also for its contribution to the preservation of collective memory. “Tafí Viejo sin tiempo” not only tells the history of this city, but also captures its cultural essence, its values, its institutions and its emblematic characters.
The event was attended by Titi Enrico’s family, as well as local authorities, including the interim mayor Antonio Reynosothe Secretary of Government Sofia Solorzanoand the Undersecretary of Government Paula Chein, among other officials of the municipal Executive. During the ceremony, a special distinction was presented to the Enrico family, along with a painting painted by the renowned artist Atilio Roberto. In addition, the Deliberative Council announced the approval of an ordinance that declares the book of municipal interest.
Carlos Alberto Enrico, affectionately known as “Tití”, born on July 13, 1947, left an indelible legacy in the community of Tafí Viejo. His tireless dedication to local history and culture made him an invaluable collaborator for the Municipality of Tafí Viejo, with the common goal of revaluing the city’s historical heritage and preserving its unique identity.
