In the first, they seized 8 kilos and 584 grams of drugs, which were carried by a bus passenger.
In the last operation, the gendarmes had the assistance of the anti-narcotics dog “Eva” and used the mobile scanner to control a transport of parcels, which marked the existence of 99 kilos 710 grams of marijuanadistributed in three postal pieces.

Details of the operations
In the first case, the gendarmes dependent on Squadron No. 45, which is stationed on national route No. 9, prepared to control the hold of a bus and the documents of the people on board.
As a result, the gendarmes detected that eight rectangular packages with a vegetable substance were hidden inside a suitcase and identified an adult man, who was the owner of the luggage.
After carrying out the Narcotest field tests, these showed positive results for “cannabis sativa” with a total weight of 8 kilos 584 grams.
In the second case, the officers stopped the operation of a parcel service transport and carried out the inspection with the narcotics detector dog “Eva” and also used the Institution’s mobile scanner, which alerted about the presence of narcotics. within three parcels.
At that time, Force personnel opened the packages where they discovered 96 bricks containing 99 kilos 710 grams of marijuana.
In both operations, the intervening Fiscal Unit requested the confiscation of all the drugs and other elements of interest to the case. Meanwhile, the passenger and driver of the parcel service vehicle were detained.
