signing of agreement with the UADER – Judicial Branch of Entre Ríos

The Superior Court of Justice (STJ) signed an agreement with the Autonomous University of Entre Ríos (UADER) with the objective of articulating the implementation of the “Device for resignification of masculinities of people convicted and/or probation for simple abuse.” The signing of the document between the president of the STJ, member Leonardo Portela, and the rector Luciano Filipuzzi, was this morning in the Agreement Room of the STJ.

The device will be intended for people who, within the framework of the suspended trial and/or conditional sentence, are under the monitoring and control of the Office of Alternative Measures (OMA), dependent on Criminal Chamber No. 1 of the Superior Court of Justice.

Present at the signing ceremony were the vice president of the STJ, member Laura Mariana Soage; the executive director of the OMA, Fabricio Amateis; the coordinator, Valeria Fornara, and the secretary of Integration and Cooperation of the UADER, Mr. Raúl Russeaux.

The agreement establishes, among other points, that those tested or convicted must complete all the procedures and requirements established by the university for participation in the device. And comply with all obligations, procedures and provisions established for attendance and completion, as well as respect and compliance with the rules of coexistence established in the faculty.

The OMA will be directly responsible for controlling and supervising compliance with the rules of conduct by those tried and convicted, and must maintain permanent and direct communication, regarding the assistance of the device, with the person that the UADER designates. effect.

The program is intended for adults convicted and/or on probation (suspension of trial to probation), which addresses the problem of crimes against sexual integrity, specifically simple sexual abuse, excluding those perpetrated against children and adolescents.
