Alterations in the serial numbers were detected in four of the units
Within the work carried out by the Vehicle Theft Unit, the State Attorney General’s Office of San Luis Potosí (FGESLP) announced the seizure of five vehicles in the Capital of Potosí.
In the first instance, two Honda trucks were located, the first one, a blue color, type CRV and the second, in gray color, type HRV; both had alterations in the serial numbers.
In addition, a theft report was established since May 5, 2024 for a white Ford pickup truck, model 2014.
On the other hand, two more vehicles were recovered; a Dodge truck, type Ram, white, model 2021 and a Kia, type Forte, gray, model 2020, these presented an apocryphal series.
All units were made available to an agent of the Public Ministry of the first delegation, who will be in charge of carrying out the procedures that lead to the delivery of the cars to their owners.
The FGESLP recommends immediately reporting 911 in the event of the theft of a vehicle, and urges you to verify the status during the purchase and sale of the same, so that the police corporations can obtain better results in the fight against this crime.
