The Government of Misiones, through the Ministries of Public Health, Education, Addiction Prevention and Drug Control, the Institute of Social Security (IPS, Defender of the Rights of Children and Adolescents of Misiones and the House of Representatives, works on the coordination of a Provincial Network for the comprehensive approach to the problem of suicide.

The aim is to work on the problem of suicide not only from the educational field, but also to launch a network of assistance, control and monitoring, throughout the provincial territory, with the intervention of the health, social and educational areas.

In this first meeting, “each participating organization raised the tools they have and how we can translate them into a shared care and monitoring protocol. From having a provincial mapping of where the teams and effectors are with professionals for care, operation of a provincial communication line and strengthening training channels for teachers, among other points,” indicated the Minister of Public Health, Héctor González.

Participating in the work table, today in the provincial health portfolio, were the Ministers of Public Health, Héctor González, of Education Ramiro Aranda, of Addiction Prevention and Drug Control, Samuel López, the president of the Institute of Social Security (IPS). , Lisandro Benmaor, the Defender of the Rights of Children and Adolescents of Misiones, Roxana Franco, the president of the Health Commission of the House of Representatives, Jorge Martín Cesino and the teams of each agency involved in the issue. Next week there will be a new meeting.
