Wilber Honorio Muñoz Burbano, known nationally as ‘Super H’, an environmentalist and swimmer who has made long journeys along the Magdalena River to promote the defense of the environment, was sent to prison with a security measure after being identified for alleged sexual abuse committed against a minor, 13 years old, in Neiva, Huila.
After his capture, he was taken to a virtual hearing in which the Prosecutor’s Office presented evidence against him, for which a Guarantee Control Judge sent him to jail.

In the middle of the investigation, it was learned that his case would be related to the possible assault against a minor, to whom he had allegedly carried out “intimate touching”, as well as harassment and physical and verbal harassment for sexual purposes.
In the complaints, the girl’s mother stated that “he harassed her and told her not to talk to anyone because she belonged only to him.” The woman discovered it when reviewing those and other conversations on the victim’s computer and cell phone.
‘Super H’ was charged with the crimes of sexual abuse with a minor under 18 years of age, charges that he did not accept in the middle of the virtual hearing.
‘Súper H’ became known in the region after dedicating part of his days to swimming through the Magdalena River to teach children and adults how to protect the water source.
The first time he swam through that tributary was in 2010, and he did so from San Agustín, Huila, to the mouth in Bocas de Ceniza, in Barranquilla.
For 34 days he swam 1,500 kilometers passing through some 50 Colombian municipalities, but he also created a booklet telling his stories to children and teaching them to protect the environment.
