After a recent call made by the Departmental Education Secretariat to the 176 educational institutions of the 35 non-certified municipalities in charge of the Government of Huila, and to 50 private educational establishments. This call marks the beginning of the implementation of the Senatec program in the region.
According to the head of educational quality of the Ministry of Education of Huila, Martha Patricia Obregón, 14 Educational Institutions of the department have already been articulated, with 502 records in Sofia Plus, and 9 of these Educational Institutions of Huila They have already started their training.
“This new modality of articulation for the Department of Huila“, strengthens the process already in development that we have been advancing in the Sena with more than 3,000 students linked in this year 2024, in more than 162 programs in 33 municipalities of the territory,” said Martha Obregón.

“These Senatec processes, which are focused on the development of digital skills for our boys and girls who are in secondary education and who will transition to technological education and higher education, allow us to advance in strengthening job opportunities for them and them, and strengthen their relevant competencies according to the vocation of the territory,” added the official.
The leader of the educational quality area of the Huila Grande Governmentalso said that the Senatec program, which for the first time is implemented throughout the country, has the challenge of linking more educational institutions for next year, and that, although it is a new training opportunity, they are learning that, Through special platforms, it transforms 10th and 11th grade students into competitive citizens in the face of the demands of today’s digital world.
