A video recorded a new confrontation between two women in the sector known as ‘Cuadra Play’ in Cabecera. The events occurred on Carrera 35 and Calle 48, in the early hours of this Saturday, May 11.

Those present recorded the fight between the two young women, who were under the influence of alcohol. Although the causes of the fight are unknown, the video recorded two security guards from the nightclubs in the area trying to separate the women.

However, efforts to mediate the fight were in vain. Those involved refused to stop the confrontation. Between fists, kicks and hair pulling, these women engaged in a fight for more than 10 minutes, according to witnesses.

A leader in this sector, who hid his identity for security reasons, pointed out that these fights continue every weekend, although they are not made known or publicized as much as before.

It is now prohibited by the personnel who guard these establishments to record the fights. Several people in the area have received threats if they dare to record these outrages on their cell phones.”, he concluded.

Neighbors of ‘Cuadra Play’ also pointed out that there are no security cameras in this area, so capturing these street fights is difficult, but that does not mean that they do not continue to occur. “Many times they occur, but only when they are recorded do they become known, otherwise, they go unnoticed,” said a resident of the sector.

Fortunately, the fight did not escalate. However, these situations put at risk the tranquility of the people who reside in this sector and who insist on controlling capacity and noise. “The noise and bass of these nightclubs are not controlled by the Planning Secretariat”, assured the leader.

Although the rumba hours in Bucaramanga were reduced by one hour since March of this year, the truth is that those who live in this area of Cabecera are asking for more frequent controls.

It should be noted that the closing time of bars and commercial rumba establishments was established at 2:00 am every day through decree 0034 of 2023.
